Organized by the Greater Springfield Harriers running club, the
races are held every Saturday at
**9:30 a.m.** December through February and alternate
between a 10 kilometer and a 5 kilometer course, both USATF certified. The races have
never been canceled throughout their history. No matter how cold it is, regardless
how much it may snow, if you get to the Skate House, you can run.
Where: Porter Lake Skate House, Forest Park,
Springfield, MA
Registration: 8:45 am, Porter Lake Skate House.
Day of the Race Only
When: Saturdays at 9:30 a.m. from Dec 3rd, '11 through Feb
25th, '12.
Entry Fee: $4, Races will be held regardless of weather.

the arts with athletics:
Raffle drawings each week for a pair of tickets to the Springfield
Symphony and Majestic Theater. Gift Certificates awarded to age record
breakers, special prizes for predicted time winners! Bonus prizes will be
