Annual Snowstorm Classics

Organized by the Greater Springfield Harriers running club, the
races are held every Saturday at 10:00 a.m. December through February and alternate
between a 10 kilometer and a 5 kilometer course, both USATF certified. The races have
never been canceled throughout their history. No matter how cold it is, regardless
how much it may snow, if you get to the Skate House, you can run.
Where: Porter Lake Skate House, Forest Park,
Springfield, MA
Registration: Porter Lake Skate House. Day of the Race.
When: Saturdays at 10:00 a.m. from Dec 6, '08 through Feb 28, '09.
Entry Fee: Only $3. Races will be held regardless of weather.

the arts with athletics:
