Boston Marathon Bus
April 15th, 2012

The Harriers will once again be traveling to the Boston Marathon in comfort and style via a Strong luxury motor coach.

The bus will leave the Riverdale Shops off Route 5 in West Springfield (behind Caraba's Restaurant) on Patriots Day, Monday, April 15th PROMPTLY AT 6:00a.m. We will make the usual pick up in Palmer at the Big Y Shopping Plaza (1/2 mile left off the Palmer exit of the Mass Turnpike) leaving PROMPTLY AT 6:30 A.M. Please do not be late as we will be unable to wait for you because we must arrive in Hopkinton at a designated time.

     Runners will be able to freely use the bus as headquarters (warm and dry) until the start of the race. After the start the Harrier Bus will race the runners and the other club buses to Boston where we will pick up all the tired but happy marathoners.

     Please note that this bus is for officially registered runners only!

     The cost is $30 round trip for Harriers and $40 round trip for non club members, a real bargain. And there is no better way to get to the Marathon.
We are taking deposits this year to make things easier for everyone the morning of the race. Please make checks out to the Greater Springfield Harriers. You can pay in the store or send your deposit to the store once you have contacted us and let us know you are going to be riding with us.
