OK, I can't resist - I've got to comment. I respect Joe and Mike alot for their commitment to training and trying to excel. Sure, 'I Hate Rhody' beat himself up for not performing, and then publicly announced his anguish. It's not whining, its just the Way of The Web. Alot of folks pour their hearts out on message boards and 'blogs. In their comments, I see my own frustrations at getting older and seeing my performance decline. As far as one of the 'k(n)uckleheads' not standing still during the national anthem...his choice. Patriotism (or Religion, Politics, Lifestyle Choices, name your own thing) should be a deeply personal experience, and in America doesn't require everyone else to line up with your own beliefs. Experience it for yourself and then let it go. I'm sure that if I had 5 minutes to talk to you, whoever you are, I would see a person with deep feelings. Be kind and try not to trample over the feelings and beliefs of others. Peace.
