I can't help it - I'm getting excited about Boston! Ten days to go, and I completed my last longish run (13 miles) at marathon pace tonight. When I finished, there was still daylight left. Weather.com only has its 10-day forecast to Sunday the 16th, but it definitely doesn't look like a heat wave. Sunday's prediction is for a high of 55 degrees, partly cloudy. Preceding days have some rain and mostly temperatures hovering in the 50's - this looks like a set-up for a perfect run! The last three years - '03 in the 80's, '04 pushing 90(!) and '05 back in the 80's - have made it pretty tough on the runners. Maybe the weather will cut us a break this year. To my fellow Harriers participating on the 17th, Good Luck, Good Running and Good Memories! Spring is here and the noon cannon in Hopkinton will confirm it!
