maybe i'm not the right guy to do this. i have not run it in ten years. however, this is the way that i remember it; mostly gradual to rolling uphills early on. and by early on, i guess i mean most of the first half. at 3-ish, it will start to come down and i mean scorching fast 4 and 5. a little roller after the five mark then flattens out into 6, you will take a right turn into a gradual uphill finish. it can be a rather long finish cuz you can see it materializing in front of you. stay out of trouble at the start. if you are near the front of the race , you will be fine. do not make the mistake of lining up behind the 6 minute mile poster. a thousand idiots will forget everything they know and go flying out and die when they realize that all of the hills are early. sifting through the carnage can be exhausting, so get into a spot where you can dictate your own race. if you do not hit your splits early on, don't panic. there is plenty of gravitational pull in the mid-late miles. have fun, and best of luck, michael
